Aqua-Polish employs the microfiltration version of our "Structured Matrix" technology. The Aqua-Polish matrix is rated at 1-micron retention (compared to SEAGULL IV matrix at 0.4 micron). This is fine enough to physically remove microscopic and visible dirt and scale, and many other larger particulate contaminants, also removes foul tastes and odors.Additionally, the already inherently large capacity can be extended relative to particulate removal by cleaning the Aqua-Polish element.
